American Foundation for The University of the West Indies (AFUWI)
We’ve provided special event management and donor cultivation services to AFUWI for several years, including their signature fundraiser, “The Legacy Continues Gala.” This gala supports exceptionally talented, financially needy students at The University of the West Indies, helping to secure their future and amplify the organization’s impact on education.
Metropolitan Black Bar Association (MBBA)
As partners in the planning of MBBA’s 40th and 41st Anniversary Awards Galas, we were honored to help celebrate their continued commitment to advancing equality and excellence within the legal profession. These milestone events, held at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers in New York City on May 17, 2024 and May 16, 2025, showcased our expertise in high-profile nonprofit events.
Red Maple Leaf Designs & Events
We played an instrumental role in the pre-launch of “Just Mercy,” a biographical legal film based on Bryan Stevenson’s memoir, supporting its 2019 theatrical debut. Our collaboration highlights our ability to manage impactful nonprofit events that amplify social justice causes and create meaningful public engagement.
Bedford-Stuyvesant Gateway Business Improvement District (BID)
From 2018 to 2023, we partnered with Bedford-Stuyvesant BID, offering event management, strategic planning, and board development services to bolster their work within the community. This ongoing relationship reflects our commitment to supporting nonprofit organizations that foster local economic growth and community empowerment.
Power Women & Community Building (PWCB):
Event Strategies For Success collaborated with Dr. Kim Best to shape PWCB’s inaugural event in early 2020, just before the pandemic shifted the landscape of nonprofit event planning. This project underscores our ability to adapt and deliver impactful events, even in uncertain times.
START NY
In 2016 we partnered with START NY to revitalize its signature fundraiser. Our collaborative efforts led to practical solutions, re-energizing the planning process and culminating in a highly successful event that the organization’s leadership and team proudly celebrated.
At Event Strategies For Success, we remain dedicated to enhancing the visibility and impact of our clients’ initiatives through meticulous nonprofit event management and fundraising strategy execution.
