Event Strategies For Success truly got its “start” with START NY. A Brooklyn-based nonprofit committed to compassionate care and transforming perceptions of addiction and behavioral health, START had been planning and executing their annual fundraiser for years — while consistently falling short of their goals. When a board stakeholder opened the door to a conversation, what followed became the engagement that shaped everything.
Approached less than three months before their signature fundraiser, the team needed more than advice — they needed a rapid, structured reassessment of the event itself. We hosted our Signature Leadership Roundtable, dedicating a full day to the event’s most pressing challenges: sponsorship structure, event framework, and how the organization’s story connected with its supporters.
The result was immediate.
