Event Highlights and Reflections

It was an extraordinary evening, made even more special by the presence of 11 remarkable women who have deeply impacted my life: Maxine Alexander, Joan Bakkriddin, Lynette Battle, Janet Caesar-Dupree, Audrey Doorn, Patricia Draghine, Ann-Marie Grant, Rose Gurrier, Petula Hanley, Kesha Harmon, and Pamela Harmon. I was also thrilled to share this moment with my Lion Sister and fellow honoree, Ty’East Alleyne-Bobb.

Last, but certainly not least, this journey would not be complete without the unwavering support of my husband, Stan Walker, who is always by my side.

At the start of this process, I was asked to share a favorite quote, and I chose these words from Sarah Jakes Roberts, which I would now like to offer to you:
