STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP CONSULTING SERVICE

One on one consulting service for leaders and their teams to help assess their ability to plan and execute fundraising events.  At the end of this process, we will have created a strategic plan for you, and your team, to implement with confidence.  

This service includes:

  • Introductory meeting – This meeting will provide Event Strategies For Success with an overview of your special event objects, current fundraising successes and challenges and the organization’s capacity to incorporate a new event or increase the size of an existing event.
  • Follow-up meetings with key team members – There will be two working meetings with key team members during this phase. Each meeting will help Event Strategies For Success learn what would make this plan work for your organization and what identify challenges.  At the end of these meetings we will provide an assessment of the organization’s existing resources and identify the gaps.
  • Strategic Plan review meeting – This is when we present our initial plan based on conversations with leadership, and independent research to support your needs.  This is where perform a gut-check to see how the plan will fit into your fundraising objectives.
  • Strategic Plan presentation and sign-off – This is where we present your ready to implement strategic plan designed to help you reach your special event goals.

EVENT FUNDRAISING & MANAGEMENT SERVICE

For organizations that do not have the staff and resources to manage a fundraising event, we are here to assist you.  This option compliments the work completed with our clients during the Strategic Consulting phase.  

This process includes

  • Completion of the Strategic Consulting Service outlined above.
  • Professional Event Fundraising & Management Service, customized to fit your organization’s need and fundraising goal, as presented below.

Event Fundraising & Management Service includes:

  • A working timeline to coordinate activities and ensure a successful outcome.
  • Interfacing with your honorees, benefit committee and staff to leverage existing donor relationships and create new ones.
  • Identifying prospects and donors who share an affinity with your mission and programs.
  • Identifying vendors required to produce a unique event experience, among them: site managers and caterers, print and graphic designers, marketing and communications experts, decor and lighting specialists, entertainers and performers, audio-visual and sound engineers, videographers, photographers and volunteers.*
  • Creating an expense budget for the event.
  • Working with leadership to create sponsorship, table and ticket prices in line with the fundraising goal.
  • Working with the printer on all event materials.
  • Coordinating the mailing of all print materials and on-line placement of electronic invitations.
  • Preparing donor focused thank you letters to set the stage for future cultivation efforts.
  • Preparing a run-of-show and script for the event.

PROFESSIONAL EVENT MANAGEMENT

For organizations that have successfully managed the event fundraising campaign but need a to identify and coordinate the resources required to ensure a professionally managed event.  As this service does not include fundraising oversight from Event Strategies For Success, completion of the Strategic Consulting Service is not required. 

  • Identifying vendors required to produce a unique event experience, among them: site managers and caterers, print and graphic designers, marketing and communications experts, decor and lighting specialists, entertainers and performers, audio-visual and sound engineers, videographers, photographers and volunteers.*
  • Creating an expense budget for the event.
  • Preparing a run-of-show and script for the event.
  • Three pre-event rehearsals.
  • Day-of event, on-site management and vendor follow-up.
